2020 will be a great year for Gravações Tunguska! In all we have already 4 new titles that will be released in the first months of the year. And work on other two is already in an advanced state. Expect news from DAO, kageraw, Hardware, Veneno, and much more! New contacts and partnerships are being established each day, and the Tunguska catalogue will grow stronger and stronger. We will add a distro page soon, and a bandcamp page is on its way too. Soon you will be able to acquire digital files of many of the releases, beyond those on soundcloud or youtube. Business in the brazilian headquarters has picked up and many of our titles can now be found in the brazilian economical capital of São Paulo. We will continue to focus on our three branches of extreme music, providing releases impossible to find on other labels. New posts will follow!... 

Recently (8/1/2020) HOMO gave a show in one of OPorto's main venues, Passos Manuel. According to the artist this edition in 2019 was a main inspiration to get busy with his solo project again. From the mind of Filipe Silva, known for his extactic performance as part of HHY & The Macumbas as well as other bands and projects, comes HOMO, his solo projection through electricity, spiraling voices, loops and lo-fi spectrality. A language built from broken sounds, words and sentences. All words engineered, voices puppeteered, sounds resourced and timespace collapsed by Homo in the Fall/Winter of 2013/2014. This edition comes with a booklet, and is limited to 100 copies.

Discovering kageraw in 2018 was like finding an once known but long lost project.  Ethereal, yet dense. Piano, guitar, voice, wind, space. Short fragments from the songs of inner feeling. Released in the beginning of 2019, this compilation has proven to be one of our best sellers during the past year. A reissue of the first two records of the Portuguese industrial mammoth, while they were still in their early beginnings. While on "Primary Interface" we are presented with a raging display of raw junk metal percussion, power electronics and dark industrial tones, on "Transmissions" the ambient shifts towards a more cosmic approach, although without loosing its rusted edge. Housed in a double tape box, this release comes with an eight panel U-Card with a redesigned artwork that comprises the aethetics of this first period. Limited to 100 copies. A part of what happens on the underground are trades. Between underground labels this is very common, and usually in 90% of the cases follows through without problem. But there are always those guys... In the present case a trade was agreed with video nastie records, a trade one might add that would be more lucrative for them than for us. The packet was sent. They did not receive it, did not collect it at the post office, and the packet was returned. We lost our posting money. Just a warning to those out there in the business - don't trade with these irresponsible people!

Well, here we are in the new year... 2020... Greetings to everyone and may this year be a peacefull and productive one. So let me tell you a little bit about last year. It was a year of great strides for Gravações Tunguska. New editions, new contacts, new bands, new internet content, lots of work towards the spread of the "waves of Tunguska". Talking about the 2019 editions we can say that one of our greatest prides is having released the third full-length of HOMO, entitled "A Good Dog Is A Bad Wolf" - this is an extremely powerfull album of dark ambient music that will take the listener on a greyish trip towards the inner questions that haunt mens souls. Another reference which was both an innovation as a return to the golden past is the release of the double-cassette containing the first two albums of Sektor 304. An innovation for it was the first collaboration of Gravações Tunguska with another label, namely New Approach Records. And the pride of having in ou
